Who runs HobbyHub
HobbyHub is operated by Abdulrahman Ahmed (a private individual, in the process of incorporating HobbyHub Ltdin England & Wales). Contact: support@hobbyhubs.app.
What we collect
- Email + password (for sign-in).
- Display name, optional bio, profile photo, hobby skill levels.
- Your self-declaration that you are 18 or older (at signup).
- Your messages, posts, comments, RSVPs, attendance records.
- Standard server logs (IP, user agent, request time).
Why we collect it
- To run the service — match-making, chat, scheduling.
- To enforce our 18+ policy — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
- To keep members safe — reporting, blocking, moderation.
Your UK GDPR rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. You can delete your account permanently from Settings → Delete my account — this triggers a cascade delete of every personal data point we hold. For other requests email support@hobbyhubs.app. If we don't respond within 30 days, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Sub-processors
We share data only with the platforms we need to run the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage. EU region (Ireland).
- Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Cloudflare— DNS & domain.
